***OLD***DisDivas and Family October Mini Meet

Heather, I would love to spend some time with you and your family at the parks! Ty LOVES the Playhouse Disney Live show and he really enjoyed his first viewing of Aladdin as well. I wasn't sure if it would hold his attention for the full 45 minutes, but he was transfixed, so that is another possible things for us to do beyond the kiddie rides.

Anyhow, it's a busy day here at work, although I'm wishing for a bottle of Magicale right now. According to the sommelier that I was talking to this past weekend, DCA is the only place that it is served in the entire Western Hemisphere Oh, and how sad is this--there is no Rosa Regale to be had in Las Vegas And thus, I will continue to daydream about it

The sommelier is not quite correct. If you were in Hawaii, Wine By Numbers is a small wine store that carries it in small quantities and WAAAAAAY cheaper (about $20/bottle rather than $45). It's a bit of a bummer though, because they only deliver to Hawaii (although they are checking into what they would need to do to deliver to Canada )

Just a Quick Note.. My Mother's Birthday is Oct. 23rd.. and So we will be going on this trip to celebrate her birthday!
I'd like to do a meet for drinks at the Napa Rose, later on the evening of the 23rd to celebrate my mom's birthday, I hope some of you can stop by!

Oh darn, we'll be at the Halloween party that night.

Sooo, I have been talking to DH and we are 90% coming on the trip in October!
We are going to definitely do Goofy's, WCT, and the Halloween Party.

YAY!! I'll see you at the Halloween party then, and at Goofy's for breakfast on Saturday. I won't make it to WCT as we'll be leaving on Sunday probably before lunch.

I still cannot believe she got her bra undone at the end of the day and I never saw a thing!! That is some talent

Sooo, I have been talking to DH and we are 90% coming on the trip in October!The only thing stopping us is his time off. His boss can be weird about time off..but October is a relatively slow month for HR in the school district, so we should be good to go. The earliest he can request it is in July. So we will know then for sure.

We are going to definitely do Goofy's, WCT, and the Halloween Party.
This trip is going to be Maddie's birthday gift. So, we are going to try and make it really special for her. Do you ladies have any ideas for me to make it extra great? There are going to be quite a few bdays going on while we are all there!

Jane~ I can't find Rosa Regale either. I guess in October I will be hitting up Costco before I head home!

Dawn~ We are staying at the time share by Garden Walk. The new Worldmark timeshare.

I think we are leaving Sunday morning to drive home, unless I can get Monday off. Then we are leaving at the 4 AM to head home
It will be a very long, long 18 hour drive home.....

As of now I am planning to leave on the 17th at 5AM.

We will take Hw 17 to Oregon, then I am not sure what Hwy it is after that, but it is through the middle of Oregon- Bend, Grants Pass (I think), then cross over into CA, head down through Weed, Redding and I-5.

Lucky you, a 12 hr drive!!

That's okay. In looking back at the posts, I realize it was someone else who posted that it was CHOC walk weekend when they were there last year. We'll be arriving that weekend so I was curious to see how insane it will be when we get there.

We are both not big breakfast people..thats why i was thinking lunch.. Do You or anyone else have any ideas for birthday lunch? Or should we do a brunch? I'm doped up on cold medicine.. so any ideas are much appreciated.
