Good! :thumbsup2

I agree, 5pm does sound like a good time. Hopefully, we will have fireworks that night also. We should be done in plenty of time for all the nighttime fun! We also need to get our fill of Fantasmic! since it looks like it will be closed during our girls only trip. Are you gonna watch it with me again? Hopefully, the dragon will be working for you to see. :cloud9:
:

Absolutely I'm watching it with you again! That was so much fun. Actually, isn't there a special dessert fantasmic seating? That might just be the trick for Beth's b-day finale. :wizard:

My DS(14) and I will be there from the 18th-25th for a mom/son trip (staying at the Hojos), and we'd love to meet everyone! I'm not sure what events we'll be attending yet, but maybe Minnie's breakfast (?) It seems like there will be a lot of kids his age already going to the meet, so that will be great! During our last trip, he was really hoping to see other Dis'ers and he made sure that our LGMH's were visible at all times....LOL. But, unfortunately, we didn't find anyone else. So, we were both really excited to see that this meet was planned during our October trip so that we can meet up with some of you this time! :yay:

Great!

:welcome:

I'm so glad that you can join us! We are a great group of new and old friends. We do have lots of preteens/teens going. It should be really fun for them. :woohoo:

If you have any questions please speak up! We are a friendly bunch, and are just the beginning stages of planning.

Can't wait to meet you!

Heather

Oooh, that is a good idea! I know it's expensive though. I'm not sure it's in my budget, but is something to think about. I know Beth had a Fantasmic! 'sit in' in March. She said that she actually liked to sit and people watch while waiting for it to start. If she does that, we could always be the waitress, and make sure her Fantasmic! birthday snack wishes are fulfilled. That little snack box they give you is really cool though!

Hi there :wave2: I am so happy there are going to be so many kids the same age! We'll make sure we have our LGMHs too :thumbsup2 When there is a group of people ALL with LGMHs, they tend to get noticed easier ;)

We like the Fantasmic reserved/dessert seating, but it can get expensive if you have more than a couple of people. It was $59 each (I think there is an AP discount available though).

Well, since there are at least 3 of us interested in doing the Fantasmic! dessert seating (maybe!), I'll start a list up front so that we can see if anyone else might be interested. This of course is in case they actually show Fantasmic! that night. I bet they will though on a busy Sat night in Oct. The price is not as bad as I thought...especially if I can talk an AP friend into purchasing my ticket for me. :wizard: I was thinking it was $79.

Oh, and Theresa, since it was you that mentioned the Happiest haunts tour, what day were you thinking of doing it. I have it on Sat now, but just realized that you didn't really say when you wanted to do it.

I'm also wondering when those doing WCT are thinking that they want to do that. I'm just curious, because I'd love to try it, but need to know what day it's on in order to know if I can do it.

WooHoo! I think we are going to have a great time!

I've got an AP. :thumbsup2

Remind us what WCT is please?

Wine Country Trattoria, some of us were wanting to go there to get a Magicale fix! :thumbsup2

The dessert seating will be fun. I'll have to decide if I want to buy for DH and I, or just for me. It all depends on what I think the boys will do. I'm a little worried it will be too intense for them. I'm actually worried the fireworks will be. Nathan hated them last year on the 4th. We'll see how he does this year, but now I have Nolan to worry about hating them!

I've been reading along, and plan on making it to the meet! I'm not sure who I'll have with me though.

DS Quinn (11) and I would love to know where everyone is staying. There seem to be lots of other kids and DS would to really like to meet those staying at the HoJo so they could hang out at the pool and Pirate's Cove.

I know prices are up in the air right now but does anyone know how much the tasting costs? I'm trying to figure out what all I want to commit to because of $$$. I really want to do the BBQ, tasting and Fantasmic desert shindig but we'll see. Does any of the other festivities cost anything? Sorry of this is posted elsewhere I'm rather scatter-brained at the moment. :rolleyes1

Oh doh on the Wine Country Trattoria. I am eager to taste the Magicale so I can compare it to Rosa. Yes, that's a must do.

Only you know how your little guys will deal with the fireworks and sounds.

Great! Whether you come with someone, or come alone, you'll have fun. There are several women who will be there alone so I don't think anyone will be really "alone.":dance3:

Oooooh! This sounds fun! ;) Hope it happens while I'm still there!

That would be nice. I'm thinking it will happen either Friday or Sunday since Saturday seems to be packed already.

Most of us usually stay at the HoJo's, so I'm sure there will be other kids around.

Hi Bridgette! The prices are just what Disney charges us, for the various meals and events (tour, party, dessert seating, etc). The 'tasting' is not an official event at WCT. It's just my fancy way of saying we're going there to have our fill of Magicale and other things. I did not go this past trip, and so can't tell you how much a bottle of Magicale is. I'm sure someone will be along soon to tell us. :thumbsup2

The Halloween party is also a special ticket, and so will cost extra. It has not been announced for this year yet. You can read about last year's party here: Halloween Party 2008 Last years prices are listed on that site also.

It looks like last years Happy Haunts tour was $59 with no discount offered. I found that info here: http://www.wdwinfo.com/disneyland/plan/tours.htm

I hope that helps!

I definitley won't be alone! I usually plan a group trip for late November, but we're thinking of doing it during the Oct. meet. So it is possible that I will have 20 people with me!!!!!

Hey Tina! I hope you're around a little. DH has to experience Billy, and I'm not sure I'd want to do it without you! :thumbsup2

Yes, I'm looking forward to trying it. I haven't even tried Rosa yet, but it sure sounds yummy! At WDW, they have their special sparkling wine-Fairy Tale by Iron Horse. We had several bottles given to us on our honeymoon. :cloud9: I have a bottle set back for our 10th anniversary.

Wow...you must have read my mind. :-) Last night, I said to my DS that we should look into maybe setting up a time where all the people who were staying at Hojos could meet at Pirates Cove so that the kids could play together. We would love to meet you and your DS there, so count us in. :-)

That sounds really fun! We arrive on October 17 and are thinking maybe some others will be there early, too. When it gets closer and we see when everyone is arriving, we can plan a get together at the HoJo. I know DS would love it!

Sounds great! We'll be arriving early too (the 18th) and we'll be in bldg. 2
