I'll definately be there on the 24th for Beth's b-day. And I'm thinking about doing the Halloween party on Friday.

It'll be me, the baby, DS13 (well he'll turn 14 in September) and DD12.

We'll be there for the party on Friday night and lunch wherever on Saturday. We're going to do the Happiest Haunting tour as well The darn thing is my AP is going to expire May 5, so hopefully the tickets are available for AP purchase before then (or I guess we wait until August - I don't think any of the nights sold out THAT early!).

We are not wearing costumes, but I am going to do some cute (and cool for Jesse ) t-shirts. I might try to get to Wine Country Trattoria for some Magicale while we're there too

Right now, my plans are to be there Oct. 23-25. DD19, almost 20, will be back at school so she may join us, and my other DD13 (she'll actually be 14 then) will probably be with me, and possibly one of her friends.

I plan on being there. Will just depend on what days and times once we get winterball schedules. That's if she decides to play or not. I will be there with DBF James and Taylor DD13. Haven't decided if I am taking Friday off yet of not. Will have to see as it gets closer to that time. But I will be there for Beth's BBQ Birthday meal. And pretty much Sunday as well.

I thought putting children's ages would be good in case you wanted to find someone to pal around with with children of similar ages to yours.

I'm going to start a list for the Party and Beth's B-Day BBQ.

Theresa mentioned the Happiest Haunts tour. Is anyone else interested in that? It might be fun to try and do it together. I'd love to do it, but I have the babies (and will NOT ride TOT!).

I was wondering if you all would like to have a character meal together? I think it would be really cute to get all the kids together at something like that.

Oh, I'm not doing the tour. I'm really there to enjoy Disney with my family. I don't want to leave them for the tour.

I know on our main thread there is talk about doing a character dinner, but I don't want to do Goofy's Kitchen for dinner in October if we are doing in in Feb. KWIM? I almost wonder if it wouldn't be better to do a character 'breakfast', but book it for the last seating, so that it's more like brunch. This way we would still have the valuable morning time for rides. What do you all think of that idea?

That sounds good to me. I know some are coming in earlier and some staying longer, but we all pretty much over lap those dates.

I can't remember the last time I had an actual birthday party or get-together. Usually I like to keep it low key, you know, as we get older birthdays become less fun to celebrate. So this will be neat, and I'm eager to try out the new BBQ for either lunch or dinner.

I'll be there the 23rd thru the 25th.
My family and I are doing the Halloween party on Friday night, assuming there's one offered then. And on Saturday, I'll be in the parks solo while my family visits with the in-laws, swims at the hotel, and goes to the movies. Sunday we'll probably head home pretty early so I'm not sure if I'll get any park time.

I think tickets usually become available in May. Am I right divas?

Last year they went on sale in May for AP holders.

When I paid for an expert tour guide's advice, one thing he was really big on was getting to a buffet at the start not at the finish. I personally am not big on vast quantities of food in the early morning but maybe others are.

That is good advice. I just don't think it will work for me. I'm just going to go ahead and say that I would like to plan a late breakfast at Minnie's on Sat. This way, we can do some rides with the kids in the early hours, and then eat before heading back to the hotel for a nap. Anyone want to join me?

I think having Beth's BBQ for dinner will be best for me. That's why I propose having the character meal that morning. I think that would see us thrrough the day nicely food wise....brunch around 10:30/11 and then dinner at the BBQ later that evening. What do you all think? I've already asked Beth, and she doesn't care.
