Hi all,

I have 4 x old 7 day, 2 park tickets I bought in 2009 expecting to return to Orlando in a year or two. I didn't expect it to take 7 years for us to return to Orlando thanks to recession etc.!

I believe the tickets don't expire and I called to check and seems to be OK. I have 2 questions though - I stupidly bought 2 kids tickets (even though they were also $99, and now my children are 12 and 15, will I be able to get Adult tickets for them? Also, given 7 day doesn't exist anymore what are they likely to give us instead - 4 day?

Thanks!

not sure how they will do the exchange from kid tix to adult tix.
but, usually they give the benefit to the person when using the older ticket passes.
don't think it will be a problem to make the tickets adult.

i traded in my older passes the past two years.
doing the last set when i go on my next trip.

very easy to exchange the older 7 day two park passes.

you have to go thru guest services as the system at the gate won't recognize the tickets.

every once in a while i find where i stashed the old passes.
when i find them, i do the exchange.
don't need them as i have renewed my ap every year since i bought it in 2003.

bought those cheap passes years back when my kids were planning to go with me.

Define easy lol

Unfortunately, U's official stance is they don't 'price-bridge' tickets towards upgrades. I've been offered a whopping $69 towards my PAP renewal on several occasions. That's the main reason I let one of our AP's 'go' a few years ago...just to utilize the tickets. Was able to enter the park for our length of stay (5 days in the parks) each time after GS did their thing.

OP - Just tell them that you bought the tix when kids were 'officially' kid age...according to the park's rules. If you want to use the tickets immediately, can't see you'd have any issue.
