OKW with kids, no parks

Hello all! We just added 3 nights onto our stay in Orlando & will be staying at OKW, checking in this afternoon!
We do have water park plans, but we’ve used up all our theme park days. We’re looking forward to pool time, shopping at Disney springs, and relaxing in the ac!

First time staying at OKW & we’re just wondering if there are any good activities or kids areas we should be sure to check out? Kids are ages 15, 11, 4.

Enjoy the pool and some food/beverages from Gurgling Suitcase. We love the vibe at the pool. Or, if it's not too hot, enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner at Olivias on the patio.

Take the boat to Disney Springs for some shopping or eating...or just to take the boat ride. We always take the bus back home to OKW because the return line for the boat can be long.

Your 4 year old might enjoy some activities in the Community Hall.

My kids ages 8, 9, 12, 14 enjoy spending time at the pool, the playground, and Community Hall. OKW is an easy boat ride or bus ride to Disney Springs. Be sure to check the activities board to see what's going on each day.

So @ DS, there’s bowling, movies, and lots of pop shopping for the teens/older kids. The boat is a direct ride so they could go and meet up with you for dinner. The Community Hall is a great suggestion —they are unsung assets. Have fun!

OKW has great pool activities and A really good community center staff . There is a tennis court, shuffleboard, pool, beach volleyball, basketball court and a nice playground. The movie theater is Just a boat ride away. And there is A campfire with s’mores and an outdoor movie every night.

Our son discovered shuffle board here in 1996 at eight years old...his aunt is very competitive and they had a BLAST!

I hope they still rent the surrey bikes. OKW is flat, making cycling around lots of fun.
