OKW Walking paths?

I was sharing all of the Disney plans that I have made with DH this morning. He was wondering if it is possible to walk from OKW to Typhoon Lagoon. I know I have seen a link to walking paths around OKW, but my search function is not working today. I was hoping someone could post a link for me.

I also read you can walk from OKW to Downtown Disney. Can someone give me an approximation of how long that walk takes?

As to my DH's question, is it possible to walk from OKW to Typhoon Lagoon?

I don't think so - the road across from Typhoon Lagoon to OKW is very busy and I don't remember a walkway across it.

Oh - I do walk to POFQ - and I don't consider that dangerous - to give you an idea what I consider bad.

Spiceycat - which way do you go to get to POFQ? I have details somewhere of a route via the CMs parking lot at OKW, across Community Drive and then along a path where trucks and equipment are stored to the PO parking lot (This is only what I've read - I obviously haven't actually done it yet!)

Is this the best, or only way to get there, and how long does it take? Also, would it be possible to push a stroller over this route, or is that out of the question.

I think you could probably walk it, but I'm just not sure about sidewalks, if any, along that section of Buena Vista Drive.

I'd take the path from OKW to DD first. Then, either go thru DD to the parking on the far side, go through that parking area to Buena Vista Blvd, turn right and walk down to the entrance to TL which will be on the other side of the street.

Or, when you get to the large parking lot just prior do DD, walk to the end of that lot by Cirque Du Solei, then go to the right and follow the parking lot's entrance road to Buena Vista Blvd. The entrance to TL is right across the street.

Again, don't know what kind of sidewalks exist and I'm sure you don't want to walk in the street.

Now this is just a question, but aren't these "walking paths" really cart paths for the golf carts?

No, the walking path to DD is not a golf cart path. There are a couple of places it crosses golf cart paths, and there's one small section of less than 100 feet that is shared, but other than that, it is strictly a walking path.

For the most part, while walking the path, you can't even see the golf course. The path goes along the edge of the water it's entire distance. The golf course is more inland.
