Okw - upgraded?

We have not stayed at OKW since 2011. We had a very dark studio that, no view from balcony and very run down.

Have they been upgraded since then and would the views be better from a 1 bed?

I won’t be going to the parks so want a nice balcony to sit on so any suggestions for the best area?

Request an upper floor, to get above the plantings. Also a 1 BR will have a gigantic balcony with a table, 4 chairs and a ceiling fan, full kitchen, full size washer/dryer, big 2 person jetted tube..... A major up grade from a studio. All units have just been through a major refurb last year and early this year.

We once stayed in a dark two-bedroom unit on the 2nd floor that felt like a cave (I wish I could remember the room #, but it was a few years back). So they exist even for the larger units, but I agree that generally higher floors will have “cheerier” views.

The views from studios are almost all poor due to the trees, even on the upper floor. The renovation has been completed.

There are some studios on the first floors where they are completely surrounded with landscaping. Plus you might have all the AC units for the building located near your studio. At OKW, the majority of the studios are located at the ends of the building. There are four buildings where the studios are located next to each other in the corner of the building (it's a square U shaped building). Those are 14, 18 ,35 and 38. They only have the patio door for extra light in the room (no other window), so that might have been the dark studio you were in.
