OKW towel question

Just wondering since there is no daily maid service, if there's extra towels there, or if there is a place to exchange them and get more???

Okay --

If you are staying at OKW on points (rented from a member or you own DVC) you will not get daily mousekeeping. You will get Trash-n-towel service on day 4 of your stay -- they bring fresh towels and empty trash cans. Towels and wash clothes and hand towels for up to 4 people in a studio or 1bdrm,up to 8 in a 2bdrm or 12 in a GV. You will get a full cleaning on day 8 -- towels, trash and bed linens changed as well as they will vacum and such.

If you stay in a studio you can use the laundry rooms by the pools(they are free) at OKW and just wash the towels. If you stay in a 1bdrm, you will have a laundry room with a full size washer and dryer right in the villa. They will only give you 1 start up box of tide though so bring detergent or pick some up once you get there

You can get extra towels but they'll make you pay extra for them, I think it's $6 per pack - 1 pack is enough for 1 person. It's less expensive to just wash them.

You can also get daily maid service but it's expensive - I think it's around $25 or $30 per day for a studio and $45 or $50 per day extra for a 1bdrm and so on.

If you pay cash for your stay at a DVC resort thru CRO though, daily mousekeeping is included.

Thanks, I'm glad I asked. Are there towels at the pool for swimming??? Otherwise we'll bring our beach towels too.

I could kick myself a hundred times around the block for not just insisting that we keep our 2 bedroom. My sister backed out on us, so I changed to two studios to keep the cost down for them. Now I think they're so excited that they wouldn't have minded the cost of the two bedroom and it would have so many more conveniences for 4 adults and 2 kids. Plus the jacuzzi and king sized bed!!! Well, maybe it's also good for both families to have time to themselves too.

If you stay for 8 nights, you get a full cleaning on day 4 and trash and towels on day 8. You will get either 4 bath towels (studio and one bedroom) or 8 bath towels (two bedroom). Plus a couple of handtowels and face cloths, but not 4 or 8 of each of
these.

yes, there are towels at the pools.

You can get daily trash & towel service for $10 per day requested, much less than the full cleaning.

The $6 pack of towels is for 4 sets.
