OKW to DTD

We will be staying at OKW this weekend and will be having my son's b.day party at the Lego Store in DTD. We won't have a car with us this trip, so I am wondering what is the quickest and/or easiest way for us to get there from the resort?

You can get there by boat which takes 15-20 minutes.

Buses to DTD seem very hit and miss. The boat might take longer on average, but it is very predictable (and very pleasant in decent weather.)

Or.....If you end up in the South Point area of OKW, it will take you 10-15 minutes to walk the path along the canal to the CDS parking lot.

Does anyone know how often the boats run? Every 30 min or something? Trying to come up for a timeframe. The party starts at 5 pm. So, I am thinking we need to be at the boat dock by 4. What you all think?

I believe it's every 20 minutes...it's posted by the dock.

I called them after they moved locations to see iffy chance they did birthday parties. Last year, we did the party at Rainforest Cafe and before that we did one at the Neverland Club at the Polynesian.

It took some time to get the info because the parties was something new for them. I guess they now have a room in the back for the parties.

So, if you are walking to DTD from OKW - do you pass Saratoga? Can you walk to Saratoga from OKW?
