OKW to BC

This will be the first time visiting WDW without having my car. I am staying at OKW and have 7:50 am breakfast reservations at Cape May at BC. What is the best way to get there? Are busses running to/from DTD? I could always head there and take a bus to BC. Or should I get a bus to Epcot and then walk (wouldn't that be really far?) Or, should I just get a cab and be done with it? How much would a cab run?

Buses at DTD do not run very early in the morning, since nothing there is open yet.

The bus to Epcot will not work because you can't enter Epcot until it opens at 9 AM and you can't get to the BC that way without entering Epcot and walking through to the back of World Showcase.

I would take a cab.

I'd suggest the cab. the buses make multiple stops thruout OKW and they are a little more haphazard in the early AM--you may wait a bit longer than expected so i'd go to the hospitality house and cab it at a cost of app several dollars.
