We will be staying in a studio for our trip in March. I have a 5 and 8 year old. Where is a good building to be close to busses and not have to wait for the next one? Do all buildings have studios? Is it true that there are no elevators? Sorry so many questions. We are considering buying a re-sale for this resort and rented points to try it out. Thanks for the help.

We were in building 21 with a 7 year old. Very close to the Miller's Road bus stop and one of the "quiet" pools. There were many days we had the entire pool to ourselves. And this was during a June trip. Walking distance to the Hospitality House and feature pool was fine for the 7 year old.

We enjoy buildings 63 and 64. It is close to the main pool and building. We usually have a rental car or our own if we drive so i don't take the buses!!

It's an easy walk to the HH for my girls who just love the main pool and hanging at Hanks.

hi, we were in building 25 and the bus stopis right outside the building, and right across the road is the HH, this was the perfect building, we loved it.

We own here, you will love it. We usually stay in 62 - 64 Close to HH and main pool. BUT we just stayed in bldg 48 (Christmas Week) and we truly loved it. It was quite, the bus was at the end of the building and the small pool was across the way.

Only bldg 62 - 64 have elevators but we find that when in those bldgs, we don't use them.

Yes I believe all bldgs have studios.

After you try it just let us know what you think. And I hope you and your family have a magical stay and soon well be saying to you "Welcome Home"

We like to stay in buildings 23-26 for that very reason. If you look at nclig's link to the map, you can see that those building are all close to a bus stop. But if you just miss a bus, it's a short walk over to the Hospitality House bus stop. This is the last bus stop on the way to the park, and you can easily get on the same bus that you just missed. OKW buses are rarely filled, so that's not a problem.

In fact, we got in the habit of going to the parks from the HH stop, and getting off at the 23-26 stop. That avoids the long bus trip through the complex when you're either a) all keyed up to get to the park, or b) exhausted after a park day and looking to collapse.

It's also an even shorter walk to the main pool.

Now when you arrive at OKW, you may or may not get your area request. We arrived at 12:30PM and were able to move into our room. We had requested a Canal view and got a "lake view" (water trap on the golf course). Our first request was non-smoking. You will probably be better off requesting smoking/nonsmoking and type of view rather than a specific building. Most buildings are pretty good.

We have always gotten in the area of our request - non/smoking and buildings 23-26. We love this area - as Jimbo said - I think this is one of the greatest areas. The bus stop is near that whole area - it's a smaller area - and it's a 5 minute (at the most) walk to the Hospitality House which is also - as Jimbo said - the last stop for the busses when they are heading out and sometimes the first stop coming in - sometimes not - seems like they aren't consistent with that one.

The Peninsular Road bus stop is either the first or second stop when the busses come to pick up so it you don't want to sit on the bus and ride through the resort (althought it's a great way to see the other areas - which we like to do) you can always go up to the HH.

One word of caution - room 2624, which is a studio, has the bus stop right behind it - I mean right behind it - the balcony looks at the bus stop. It's noisy once the busses start running for the day and I noticed it was noisy at night (the sound of the bus breaks). If that isn't going to bother you - it was an awesome location!

We stayed in bldg 26 on our first trip to OKW (2621 I believe), it was a great location. I had requested 23-26. On our second trip, I requested 23-26 again, but got 28. 28 had a lot of foilage so there wasn't much of a view. Last year I requested Turtle Pond Road water view, we got a great view from bldg 31. I didn't care about the bus stop because we use a rental car.
