OKW room request

We are headed to OKW and requested to be near the main pool. When we received the confirm it stated "pool view" as requested. Does anyone know if that is the same thing as "near the main pool"?

Also, which one does OKW have...DVD or VHS?

None of the OKW buildings overlook the main pool (except for across the street). Since "near the main pool" is a common request, "pool view" is the notation often used for that request, but there are a few villas with a view of some of the "neighborhood" pools too. (Remember though- it is just a request).

All 1BR villas and larger have DVD players in the living room.

I'm sure you'll enjoy the resort regardless where your room is located. If you are further than you want to walk to get to the pool, just hop on any bus- it will stop there on it's way out of the resort.

You can request a particular building at OWK if you like. They will do the best to get in in that building or near it. So you might want to look at the map and request a couple of buildings.

No - "Pool view" is not the same thing as "near the main pool". Call MS back and have them change your preferences.

And OKW has DVD in everything but the studios (which don't have anything).

It is great to have a place like these boards to ask questions...wish I would have found it sooner and maybe would have bought into DVC before we did.
