We are going over Halloween to OKW for the 1st time. very excited  The HH area by the big pool was not available. We have three boys 4, 7, 10. Which area should I try and request for?? Should I ask to be close to any pool or a specific area???

If you want to be near a pool, the Turtle Pond area is the nicest of the 3 quite pool areas. While the quiet pools themselves are all about the same, Turtle pond also has a seasonal snack bar and more pool chairs.

Also, what size unit? For one bedrooms ad larger units, the rooms in bldgs 30 ad over will have two entrances to the master bathroom, one through the master bedroom, the other through the laundry rom. Bldgs 29 and lower only have access through the master bedroom.

We will be staying in a one bed room. So if I understand right the rooms in the turtle pond area have two entrances to the bathroom? Does anyone know how long to walk from the trutle pond area to the main pool / store?? And can you drive and park at the Hospitality area?

It is, depending upon the building you are in, about a 10 minute walk to the HH area from Turtle Pond. Dependig upon time of day, parking in the area can be "iffy", but there is usually a spot or two available in the HH area lot.

You can also hop on any bus at the Turtle Pond stop, as HH is the last stop on the way out of the resort, and to return walk across the bridge and hop on a bus at the Peninsular Road bus stop near bldg 26. However, it is usually just as fast, if not faster, to walk as it is to hop on the busses.

And yes, the buildings in Turtle Pond area and South Point area have 2 bathroom entrances. Miller's Road and HH have the entrance through the master bedroom only. The exception is bldgs 62 to 64 in the HH area, they are newer and have two entrances, they are also the only bldgs with elevators, so they are often held for those needing medical access. But 62 to 64 are NOT included in the near HH booking category.

As Chuck said, it depends on which building you are in, but 10 minutes or less is going to do it either way. I also wanted to let you know that you can board ANY bus going to ANY destination at the Turtle Pond bus stop, and it will take you to HH as it's the last stop before buses exit the resort. Then for the return trip, there is an internal bus that can take you back. Our experience has been that the wait for the internal bus takes a lot longer than just making the walk.

Another vote for the Turtle Pond area here. The walk to the main area isn't really that bad, but taking the bus can be a lot easier.
