OKW---right now

we were at OKW May 11-16 and had problems with buses. Guys in parking lots in little white van were no help as they are monitoring things. Waited a full 60 minutes at Epcot to leave and then again 50 minutes at Studios. so much for keeping us up with buses. Other resorts who had no one at the stops had 6 or 7 buses to our one in an hour. Reported it but front desk said getting lots of complaints. This went on all week. Don't know what problem is but drivers are not happy either. The one I ask who stopped at another stop beside ours at Studios told me to ask the guys in the white van when they drove thru the place. Needless to say they were rude and no help at all. I did report to transportation but to no avail. Hope it gets better soon for everyone.

"Bus Ready"????? What does that mean? There's enough people at the stop to 'quantify' a stop ready for pick-up?
It was my dumb pun on "Room Ready."

"Room Ready" is (or was) the name of the room assignment policy supposedly used by DVC. It basically means you can request whatever you want, but they're going to give you whatever room they have ready at the moment you check in. Previously, they had used room assigners who actually considered your requests.

Many of us are not really sure whether they're using "Room Ready" or not, or if they might be using it at some resorts, but not at others. Or maybe using it at some times, and not at other times. Who knows?

"Bus Ready" would be a logical extension of "Room Ready" and changing the DVC magazine to a Disney marketing rag.

ETA: The more likely explanation for the bus problems is that the poster just got unlucky. OKW buses are usually considered the best in the system.

I wish I could say that we were unlucky. When we went to the bus stop yesterday morning we had a bus almost immediately. The people at the bus stop had been waiting for 30+ minutes.
