OKW Rental vs Value or Moderate

The rooms don't bother me as it's actually my family in one room and my sister, her son, and my mom in the other room. The bus stops do kind a of concern me though. Does it normally take a while for each stop?

We didnt find the bus stops to be an issue. Found OKW to be faster than POR and CBR, but I guess it really depends on where your room is at with any of the bigger resorts.

No specific "Disney theme" at OKW. It is themed after Key West.

You can have the reservations linked, which lets them know you want to be near each other, but there aren't any guarantees that the 2 studios will be on the same floor or even in the same building.

I don't find the bus stops to be an issue. The biggest issue, I think, is if you have a guest using a scooter and you are at one of the last bus stops at a busy time. If there are alreacy scooters on the bus or if the bus is already too full they can't load scooters.

We stayed at OKW two Decembers ago. I hadn't been to Disney in a while (I moved to Seattle and it's harder to go from here). Anyway, the room was very, very large. Really nice actually. Nice big bathroom. The buses were ok; however, not only are there 5 stops, but they are spread out in a way that the buses have to wind and turn to get to them, and then after each one, the bus goes through a roundabout circle to get back out of that section. That was the worse part for me. Also, i really missed the themeing that goes along with non-DVC resorts. I've stayed at Port Orleans Riverside many times, and I really missed it while I was at OKW. I would stay there again, but only if we had to save money.

If you love AoA, I would suggest you stay there. I really wished the whole time that we were at OKW that I was at POR. Although, this last December, we stayed at the Contemporary and wished the whole time that we had booked OKW. Go figure. I think if you go very often, changing up where you stay can be fun, but when you don't go that often, I think it keeps the magic going if you stay where you know. IMHO.
