I am thinking of renting a two bedroom for Feb 2006 (family of five). I have been reading about the 11 month out booking. Am I to late to try for Feb.?
At OKW--you can probably still get one, although President's Day weekend does tend to draw the crowds. At VWL--it may already be too late.
Also, I am not interested in a one bedroom with a studio. Does OKW have two bedrooms that you don't close off? I guess this question would also be for WLV.
A One Bedroom with a studio IS a two bedroom. The "One Bedroom" side has the master suite, kitchen and living room. The "Studio" side has the second bedroom. At OKW that second bedroom has two queen beds. At VWL that second bedroom has one queen bed and a sofabed.
This is what's referred to as a "lockoff" two bedroom. With the connecting door open, it's virtually identical to a "dedicated" two bedroom.
I am trying to stay at 150 points. If I figured correctly that's what I would need at either of these two places (Sunday - Thursday). Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.
The
point charts change mid-month in February. And it's not like Disney cash rooms where the price at the beginning of your stay is carried through to the end regardless of changes in seasons. At
DVC, whatever the established points are for a given date is what you pay.
For 5 nights in the first part of the month at OKW you would need 135 pts for a Two bedroom. Later in the month it would be 150.
At VWL it's 170 early and 200 later.
Look way up at the top of this message board a link to the "DVC Point Charts" if you need to do further research.
