OKW question

hi all,
We are staying at OKW this fall. Someone in our party will require use of an elevator. From what I understand only 2 buildings have elevators. Are the views from the top floor better than staying on the first floor? I'm looking for any suggestions about what we should request. I'd prefer a room with great, pretty views. Thanks

OKW is the hidden gem of WDW, the theming is great and the landscaping beautiful. The building are only 3 stories tall, so while all the units we have stayed at at nice views, you usually don't get to see that far away.

There are three buildings with elevators. Be sure that your need for an elevator building is noted on your reservation.

In general, the views from the top floor are better, but sometimes the view is blocked by the tops of the trees. Nothing you can do to improve your options there.

There are very few views that are not pretty at OKW. A few have a bit of a jungle around the porch, but most are very nice golf course views. We like first floor villas at lot at OKW. No problems for us.

We've put in a request for an elevator building due to mobility issues and would love a high floor. Are these buildings noisy due to being so close to the main enterance and HH? Thanks

I agree with other, the grounds are beautiful, I don't think there is a bad view anywhere, as far as noise, it is a pretty quiet resort - have fun!

We prefer to have a room not on the bus route or a non-OKW roadway (like near Buena Vista or Bonnet Creek), but also have someone for whom the stairs are an issue. So we have been requesting 1st floor rooms and had a nice golf course view last time off Turtle Pond. For those who have stayed in the elevator buildings, do they have bus noise issues?

We stayed in building 62 right next to the HH and were one room away from the road. There was no noise and the view from the first floor view was beautiful.
