OKW Pixie Dust!!! A feel good story

I've been looking at these boards for a few years now(since we bought our BCV DVC) Finally, I'm on!! However, a few years back (April 05) we went to WDW for a few days on our way back from VB. As we were on our bus on the way back from MK, my one year old was REALLY tired!! (and was not smelling her best), some young girls sitting by us, asked us questions about her first trip to MK. We told them how much she loved Pooh Bear. Anyway, when we got back to our room, we heard a knock and when we answered the door there was a beautiful drawn picture of pooh bear addressed to my youngest daughter and a brand new pooh bear stuffed animal. We will never forget that !! Only in Disney!!!!!!!!!

I like those kind of "Disney Day" type stories. We had a good one once too. DS and I had gone to play mini golf at Fantasia Gardens while DH was trying to get caught up on some computer work back at the villa.

Upon completeing our game, we went to catch a bus back to DTD and eventually OKW. The parks were closed, or we would have gone back via Epcot. We were not looking forward to a long bus ride back to DTD and then another wait for a bus to OKW. The "GODS" seemed to be with us though, because we actually ran and caught the bus just as it was leaving the Swan/Dolphin. There were quite a few folks standing and most of them had been at the bar a bit too long. Our bus driver introduced himself as "Crazy Jim" and proceeded to start regaling us with witty stories and teasing the inebriated ones. When he was stopped at the stoplight just before OKW, I casually said to my son that I wished Crazy Jim would let us off so we could walk from there. Well, Crazy Jim overheard me, and he asked where we wanted to walk to. I said OKW, and he said he could give us a "Disney Day" if we didn't mind walking to our villa from HH! We said "SURE", and he flipped his sign to "special" and dropped us off at HH while the inebriated ones had to wait a few more minutes to get to DTD! Made our day!
