OKW or SSR?

Going to book a last minute trip for 3 months from now and worse case can probably get either OKW or SSR. Stayed at SSR once before for 1 night-hated the bus system bc so far away from the main building. Unfortunately used to BLT which is usually great for impatient people like me and Disney transportation Don't know a thing about OKW. Would love to hear some opinions of each and pros/cons, etc.

I think both are wonderful resorts. However both use buses to the parks and the distances to the park are going to be very similar. Both have 5 internal stops before leaving the resort.

OKW rooms are larger, and newly rehabbed.

Why don't you request a room near the main building? That way the wait will not be as long. Also I wonder if you went to downtown disney (which you can walk to from some units in SSR)and took a bus from there, that getting to the parks might be quicker... just a thought.

Both are wonderful. But they both are very spread out and many members feel having a car at these resorts is preferable. If you decide to go that route, you can park right outside of your villa.
