OKW or SSR - 7 Months?

Next March (2006), I'm planning a 6 night trip and for a change thought we'd try either OKW or SSR. My thinking was that this will be more a "Florida" vacation than a "WDW" one and OKW or SSR would be easier to get in and out of driving wise. One day we're planning to drive to Tampa, one day do Seaworld, one day Universal and one day just drive around Orlando. Anyway, since it's just DW and myself and we will be basically just using the unit to sleep in, we're going with a studio. Our home resorts are VWL and HHI, so which will be easier to get ressies at the last week of March 2006 (this is not the week before Easter) at the 7 month interval - OKW or SSR?

I would say that most likely OKW will be easier to get into. Alot of new owners at SSR will be making ressies to stay there.
I would also add, that with just you and your DW, the SSR studio has the sofa bed/living area setup whereas OKW studios have the 2 queen beds so that may make a difference. At 7 months, I cant see either having limited availability, but if it were to happen, it would happen at SSR first.

IMHO, at 7 months ahead of arrival, you will be able to get either. Better have a preference in mind, LOL.

You will have no problem getting either one at the 7 month mark. If extra space is a big deal to you, go with OKW.

We always have a car and really love the easy access to other parts of Orlando.

For external access, SSR is a bit better. Two exits - one right on to Buena Vista Dr, one at the "Main" entrance. Eventually - at build out? - the other exit will be opened as an entrance.
