OKW lovers...I need some help!

I need to know that the size is of the laundry room in the 2 bedroom villas. I have a little one who needs quiet and privacy to sleep in her pack n play. Is this room large enough to fit a play pen??? Please not flames here....I'm just a mom who tries to make do!

I doubt a PnP will actually fit in the laundry room although I've never tried it. It would certainly fit in the whirlpool room of the master bath.

A Pack & Play fits BEAUTIFULLY in the laundry room! We did this for the first time when our daughter was 14 months and we only got a 1BR. We did this the next two visits for our son even though we had a 2BR and will do it again when we go back in the fall and are newest family member is 9 months old.

It works well because it lets you still use the rest of the villa without having to "tiptoe" around while the little one is napping and since their bedtimes are often a bit earlier.

One tip -- take a night light! It is really dark in there with no lights on and it could be a bit scary. We usually take a night light and a familiar crib toy or two to make it more inviting for our little one. This is just one of the many reasons we LOVE staying at OKW -- an extra bedroom for free!

The first time I mentioned this tip I was afraid others would think I was horrible for "sticking a child" in the laundry room -- glad to know I am not the only one!

Not only does the pack and play fit, but a twin sized air mattress fits in there as well. The twin sized air matress is a bit of a squeeze but it does work.

I believe a full-size crib will fit in there as well. We considered trying the laundry room, but have opted for the bathroom area instead. It works out pretty well for us. I know...we gotta do what we gotta do sometimes all in the name of a good night's sleep, esp. on vacation!!!

Clever, but do you think that the somewhat plain and utilitarian decor would scare a small child. That would be my only concern!

LOL!!!!!! We did it too!!!! The P&P fit perfect however my husband being the one he is now gets me to get a 2 bedroom and I am even wait listed for a GV in October because I will have a new baby by then to take with us. He says he does not want to be responsible for therapy later in life because we made him sleep in the laundry room However his 12 yo sister thinks it is the perfect place for her 2 yo brother in his P&P!!!! The night light is a wonderful idea......One more item for the good ole locker I cant wait to get!!!!

I put the Pack N Play out on the balcony for nap time! It was beautiful outside (in January) and DD2 slept wonderfully. I kept the blinds open and I was sitting at the table (playing on my laptop ) so I could keep an eye on her. The balconies at OKW are HUGE!

The pack n play fits beautifully. The nightlight is a good idea though. The main overhead light is the only one in there. Really dark when it's off.

No suggestions for a studio in that situation. You will be crowded and inconvenienced no matter where you put the P&P in there.
