OKW is REALLY authentic to Key West!

Right down to the folliage overhanging onto the blaconies I just watched a House Hunters show on a couple looking for a vacation home in Key West. One home was just surrounded by folliage, and it was overhanging one of their balconies. And when the show showed a scene of Key West, it reminded me so much of the HH area. Also, I noticed the painted/wooden wash (like this green)-

Just wondering, has anyone been to the real Key West and noticed any other similarities?

I have been to Key West many times and yes OKW captures the architecture very well. Disney does a great job with themeing their resorts and they do very extensive research by visiting the area.

That is why I always find it amusing that some say certain resorts, SSR comes to mind, have no theme. The imagineers who went to Saratoga Springs NY and did all the research for SSR would be insulted with such a comment. I figure some just are not familar with certain themes and its more a lack of knowing how authentic the themes are versus not having a theme.
