OKW Help Please

Hi everyone...going in May and staying at OKW. Never stayed there before. reserving 3 studios. Just wondering if there is a certain building or location that I should request? I know it is a large resort and we want to avoid being the furthest from pools, main building etc. especially since we are traveling with 2 little ones and my Mom. thanks for any advice!!!

We were there last month, wonderfull resort, We were in a studio in building 64. Just cattycorner from Hospitality house, water ferry, main bus stop and just across the bridge from the ferry was another stop, very nice.

If you wanted to be by the main building, you should request the Hospitality House which is a guaranteed booking category. I'm guessing that you haven't booked yet. The odds of getting 3 studios in that booking category this late are slim at best. You can request near Hospitality House but that's just a request. Good luck.

Bus service at OKW is really pretty good. You can hop any bus at OKW and get to the Hospitality House (and themed pool). Then to get back to your villa, you can either walk or hop the Internal Bus (DTD bus) from the HH back to your bus stop. Or you can walk to the Peninsular Road bus stop (first stop at OKW - other than Internal Bus) and ride back from there.

There are multiple pools as well. One at Turtle Pond, one at South Point and one at Millers Road. Plus the themed pool at the HH.

Are you aware there are no elevators at OKW except for three buildings? The last three buildings that were built (62, 63 and 64) included elevators. They usually are reserved by MS for guests needing the elevator for medical reasons. Some of the buildings are three stories tall, so you may be climbing several flights of stairs to get to your villa.

getting 3 studios in the same building - might be a problem - make sure MS understands that you want to be in the same building and puts that on all 3 reservations.

you can ask for - water, golf or woods - views

you can ask to near HH (now a guaranteed), pool or bus.

in many causes the pool and bus are pretty close to each other.

As noted, 3 studios in the same building will be next to impossible to fulfil. We are also going to be at OKW in May and have requested one of our favorite buildings...45 or 46. We love being on the canal, and it's an easy walk to both the South Point bus stop and also fairly easy walk to Hospitality House.

We never worry about being far from HH, since any bus will take you there. We like to walk though.
