OKW Grand Villa demand in July?

Our home resort is VWL and BCV but would really like to reserve a Grand Villa in July 2004 and bring some family members (10 to 12 total in the room). Does anyone know if they sell out to Home resort members in July or is 7 months out possible? Thanks for any input.

You never know until you try.

Generally, high point periods give way to higher studio usage and lower GV usage. I would say that July is probably one of the more likely times to find OKW GV availability.....or weekends any time of year.

I'd think you'd need to call at the 11 month window and call day by day. I'd recommend trying to find an OKW member that wasnt to trade out ressies, maybe for a BC. Good Luck.

I think Dean is right and I made it sound too easy. You will by no means be assured of a GV during July, I really meant that compared to the first two weeks of December, you chances were good......still lousy, but better than some other time periods.

Your absolute best bet is to find an OKW member that wants to trade points or reservations.

We had a family reunion at WDW this past July, we were unable to get a GV at BWV because of the late date but we got a GV at OKW 4 weeks prior to our arrival. We had the GV for a full week.

Being a BWV & VWL owner, I waitlisted for a GV this past July for 5 nights. I received the GV confirmation approx. 6 weeks out. Make sure you ask for automatic confirmation if you waitlist just in case you're unavailable when they call to offer.

Don't worry, Jade1! This is supposed to be a mild winter! Isn't DVC just grand for us northerners?!? We like to go down in January and get a little spring in the middle of winter!

Dont even tempt me-we made a pact with another family to wait for this "big trip" in 2 years because we were going twice a year and losing a little magic.
