In my opinion very Myopic thinking. I do not want more pavement in my DVC resorts in "the name of customer service". If it comes to being necessary I will meet my delivery.

First, yes, it probably is myopic thinking, second, I said close to the resorts, not in the resorts, third, I didn't realize this was only a DVC problem as others had expressed the same problems at other non DVC resorts, and no I am not a DVC owner. and forth, Yes, To each their own.

I think you were right originally - it's not just a DVC problem. In fact, I think it may be more of a problem at the non-DVC resorts. DVC resorts were likely designed with grocery/refrigerator/freezer storage because of the kitchens (although maybe the space is no longer adequate). Non-DVC resort designs probably didn't allow for nearly as much volume as they're seeing now since not only did they not have kitchens, they didn't even have refrigerators in every room until relatively recently.

Do you mean when they're delivering luggage from Magical Express? Disney covers the tip for those deliveries - that's why the guest doesn't have to be there to receive the luggage.
