Is it possible to see the fireworks from any rooms at OKW?

If yes, what fireworks are they, how is the view, and where would the rooms be located?

Thank you!!!!

yes - but remember the fireworks are far away and OKW is not very tall - so you can only the very high fireworks.

building 23 - my brother saw some (Epcot?)

someone else says Building 11 (MK?)

the best way to see the fireworks is to go to the Polyn beach for the MK fireworks - you don't have to pay - and the Poly security guard will give you are parking pass unless the resort is full. If you don't have a car - then just take the bus over to the MK and then the monrail to the Polyn.

for the Epcot - I would just drive over to the BCV or BWV - again if you don't have a car - take the Studios bus over to the Epcot resorts - since Studios generally closes earlier than Epcot - coming back will be a pain - you need to go through DD.

walk over to the IG - stop at the top of the crest - if you take the boat over you need to walk back forward the BC to the crest.

When we stayed there last Jan, we saw Pleasure Island fireworks from the first floor of building 43. It had a great view of golf and water and it was near the Turtle Pond pool. we loved the location. Now whether you are still awake at midnight when PI puts on their fireworks will depend :D

The Epcot/Illuminations fireworks may be heard from most all OKW buildings. The higher displays may be seen from many of the buildings in the Peninsular Road/Miller Road and even a few of the Old Turtle Pond buildings.

The PI fireworks at midnight can be readily seen from buildings 45,46,55 and 56 - mostly thru the trees. PI is actually very close to the South Point area of OKW. (Cirque can be seen easily also at this time of the year.) When the trees are in full foliage, the fireworks can still be seen, but with some obstruction. BCV and BWV certainly have a much better view of Illuminations and SSR has a wonderful view of PI- but OKW is the only resort that has a glimpse of both each night. (A few villas at BCV can also get a peek at Wishes in the far distance.)

People in the following buildings have mentioned seeinghigh Epcot Fireworks-#16,18,26("glimpse), 63. What we do the first night is stand on the bridge past the HH that crosses the golf course water and near where the DTD boat docks. From there is a view of the upper Epcot Fireworks too. We always watch them from there the first night and think "Tomorrow, I can go watch them up close" Sort of helps build the excitement (or like DH says, "Like you need any more reason to get excited about being at WDW")

We just got back from OKW today. We were in room 1821, a 1 BR, and you could see fireworks from our deck and MBR windows. They were behind the building that was facing ours(it was the building next to Miller's Road pool.) They were between 9:30-9:45pm each night, so I'm working under the assumption that they were from Epcot.
