OKW elevators and ECVs

Has anyone with an ECV used the elevators in any of the 3 elevator buildings at OKW? We’ve always liked the upper floor villas, but since I now use an ECV, I was wondering if the elevator buildings were an option. But I thought someone said the elevators might be too small for an ECV to comfortably fit. Anyone with personal experience? Or do I have to be on the first floor?

Based on some pictures and videos I found for the OKW elevators, they appear to be the same size as elevators at other Disney hotels.

They don't guarantee a building with an elevator even for mobility issues. You will get a ground floor unit if they can't fill your request.

Thanks but they told me that they won’t even guarantee first floor with mobility issues. When I told them that I can’t do stairs and asked for either first floor or elevator building as a medical necessity, they refused the medical necessity and would only make it a request. I thought of calling the resort directly to plead my case, but I was told the advertised phone # goes to a call center

The elevators are the usual size, so you won’t have trouble getting into it.

If you find at check in that you are not on first floor, ask to be moved.
