OKW - do they stock food in the room before arrival?

Hello!
We are arriving this Friday to OKW for our first experience as DVC members. A friend of mine mentioned that she heard you can call ahead and have food available in the room (milk, coffee etc).
Can anyone give me information about this?

You can download a grocery list off their website, fax it at least 3 days prior.

I would think with "room ready" they could not stock it until after you arrive.

Ok... where do I find the form to fill out and fax? I did hear that it would be sent to the room once it was ready... and figured this would save a trip to the store on our first day after driving from NJ. Thanks again! Nancy

If you use the resort delivery service you will be limited to only items stocked at the resort gift shop / general store. You'll also pay Disney prices (count on twice the normal grocery store price) and there's a $5 delivery charge.

A list of items can be found on the member web site. You can fax the list in advance for the quickest response.

If you have a car, I'd highly recommend setting aside 45 minutes to shop yourself. There's a Publix near the Premier Outlets, which is no more than 10 minutes away from OKW. And, while you're right there, stop in the Disney outlet store at Premier and you'll probably save a few bucks on souvenirs, too.

I have used the form a number of times. They will bring the food to your room as soon as it is available, you could be there or not. Just be careful how you order--one time I ordered water thinking the bottles were your normal size-well they were not-turned out I had enought water to take a bath in. At any rate I always felt that on vacation you are going to spend thousands anyway so the price you pay should not make any difference on a food order.
