I have an upcoming "near HH" OKW reservation (in a 1BR for 1st time!). It's Me, DH, DS (6), and DS (2). Wondering if I should request "not ground floor." What's the major differences b/w floors in OKW? Any differences in patio's/views/sunlight/etc that might sway my thinking?

(All able bodied people - don't mind that we may need to walk up/down stairs.)

You may get a better view on the highest floor depending on the building because you are above the trees, but i have been in may rooms on the first floor that have great views. Really other than that there are no differences, except the stairs. There are no vaulted ceilings or anything like that in the higher floors. if you want make sure you have no one running, or jumping above you top floor may be important, but we've never had a problem with that either.

Depends on the building, but if you are on a higher floor, you will have a better chance of a good view. The buildings in the HH area that are on Peninsular Road all have fantastic views, and the floor wont matter so much. The ones in buildings 11-14 could have some views blocked on the first floor with vegetation in some of the buildings.

We just happen to enjoy the first floor since our DS may climb on the railings of upper level. I will say that we have had some noise at night with the folks upstairs but most of the time it is quiet.
