OKW Coffee Maker

Ok I admit that I never remember, what size filters do the coffee makers take.

I would rather bring a few and not have to drag a boxfull back in my suitcase.

Can't wait till Christmas in WDW. The best time of the year even with the crowds!!!!!!!

The basket type filters for 8-12 cup coffee makers - thats what it says on my box of filters that we used at OKW

They are the filters with the flat bottom, as opposed to the ones that come to a point. I don't know if that helps. We bought some when we were down there on our last trip and just brought them home...

Live from OKW - the coffee maker is a Proctor Silex 10 cup that uses the common basket filter. The actual coffee pot is a Mr. Coffee 10 cup pot. You get a starter dose of coffee when you arrive that is one of those self contained coffee in a filter arrangements. We bought the 100 filters for a dollar pack at Publix and it works well. The new Publix is real handy - but it closes at 10PM, so if you arrive late and want more than one small pot of coffee, bring your own supplies in your luggage.

To get to the new Publix, exit Disney to the north on the Hotel Plaza Boulevard (after you pass Pleasure Island and Downtown Disney). Take a right onto Route 535 (going straight takes you into Crossroads Plaza where the overpriced Goodings is). Move into the left most lane as you pass under I-4 and take the next left onto Vineland Road (it says Little Lake Bryan on the brick entrance wall). Go about one mile and pass the Mary Queen of the Universe Shrine and Orlando Premium Outlets on the right. You'll see the frame of a new building going up on the left and then you'll see the new Publix set back in a plaza on the left. It takes about 5 to 10 minutes to get to from OKW depending on time of day. They are open from 8am to 10pm.
