OKW buses

Can you tell me how the buses are at OKW? I keep reading mixed reviews- same say they are great and fast, and others say they take forever. If you have used them recently, please tell me your experience.

Also, the HH area is not available. What is a good location to request that is as close as possible to the main pool. DD5 will want to use the slide for sure!

We have stayed at OKW the last two years and have had very little problems with the buses. The only problem we have had is getting the bus back from Animal Kingdom. Otherwise they have been excellent.

The Miller Pond area is close to the main pool and it is a very nice spot.

About how far is the walk from the furthest building in the Miller Pond area to the main pool?

I have searched for a map that shows distances, but no luck.

From almost anywhere at OKW to the Hospitality House is about a 10 minute walk. Unless your kids are running, and then it is still a ten minute walk, but a seven minute run.

We've stayed at OKW at least 14 times and never had a problem with the buses. You meet some of the nicest people at the bus stops. So we spend any time waiting visiting with the other guests.

We've stayed at Turtle Pond which we liked, we stayed at South Point which we liked and we stayed on Miller Road which we liked. You really can't go wrong with any of the locations at OKW.

We stayed in OKW over Easter and we were very happy with the bus service and ride time.

I just spent 10 days at Old Key West and found the bus service there to be super The location is very close to Epcot, Hollywood Studios and fairly close to Magic Kingdom The furthest park is Animal Kingdom and that is not a bad ride

We haven't had bus issues at OKW in 14 years. That is going out of the resort. Never fails that we have issues leaving EPCOT going to OKW though. I think it would be faster for us the take the monorail to MK and then a bus to OKW. Not sure why we have that problem, but it never fails that we sit and sit at EPCOT while 23 buses go by for POFQ (or wherever)
