OKW Bus Transportation Warning!

For anyone who will be staying at Old Key West in the near future, while construction is being done on the entrance to the resort: Because the buses are having to come in through the service entrance, their GPS systems are not always changing over to the correct destination on their signs. If a bus comes to your bus stop with "Internal Resort Shuttle" or "Old Key West" on their destination signs, be sure to ask the driver where they are actually going to. Even though this was brought to managements attention at the beginning of last week, when we left on Friday, we still saw buses traveling through OKW with this destination, the drivers oblivious to the fact. So, when in doubt, ask!! We learned this the hard way, waiting for over an hour on Monday night for a bus to Magic Kingdom. The saving grace was a new bus that didn't have the GPS installed yet, where the driver had to set his destination sign manually.
