We are planning to stay at OKW for our next trip in Feb. 09. It will be presidents week (went that time last year) so I would really like to stay near the first bus stop. So who knows what area that would be? TIA
That's correct and has been the order of the bus stops for at least 10 years now. If you want Peninsular Road though, you will either have to book the HH catagory or end up in 27, 28, or 29. Those last three have limited views. We prefer the South Point area, which is the second bus stop coming into the resort. That means you don't have to be on the bus so long either going out or coming in. We also like the Miller's Road area, because some of those units are easy walking distance to HH as well. We particularily like building 15. It is close enough to both Miller's and HH to give you a choice about which bus stop.
That is one order, but there are also buses that stop in this order:
1. Hospitality House
2. Millers Road
3. Penninsular Road
4. South Pointe
5. Turtle Pond
6. Hospitality House area
I don't know how often those buses run (it might be once an hour). The reason they run that way is to provide transportation to and from HH to all the areas of the resort.
Yes.
I was thinking they were the DTD buses, but was not sure. The other thing we noticed was that sometimes when we got onto the bus at DTD, that was not the destination they were going to when we got off.
We stayed in bldg 46 in April. That was the south pointe bus stop, which was fine. It is the 2nd stop. The first stop is Peninsular Rd. I would suggest either one of these two. Millers Rd is far and the hospitality stop is very crowded. Have fun.
We are thinking of buying OKW and would probably need to travel during peak times, just like President's week. While I am sure it is packed, does the volume of people, in your experience, take away from the experience?

We have stayed at OKW many times in the past 12 years, and while the resort is often at capacity when we are there, it doesn't ever feel "packed" because of how spread out the resot is.
