On our previous stays at OKW we have always had our children with us. We've stayed in buildings 62, 13, and 21. We liked 62 and 13 because they were close to the main bus stop, pool, and HH. Building 21 was fine too, but a much further distance from the action. My question is, if you were planning a stay at OKW for just 2 adults which building would you choose and why? From what I've read a lot of people like 45, 46, and 55 because they are on the water. Also 27, 28, and 29 look like a good location as well. Any advice is appreciated. :) Thanks!!! :thumbsup2

We've always been just two adults at OKW. We've liked building #32, close to bus stop but not too close to pool; and #42, very close to Turtle Pond pool, but further from bus stop. Building #15 is probably a good one with kids, because there's a regular contingent of ducks looking to be fed every morning. The little princess downstairs from us obviously loved it, calling every morning at 6:45 "Where aahh you, geese?" It was so cute-we loved that one! Heck, we've loved everywhere at OKW.

We were there in March and stayed in a one bedroom on the second floor of 55. It was great. We had a water view through the trees and birds to greet us each morning. It was a great place to sit on the deck and drink a cup of coffee. We also liked walking over to DTD to catch buses to resorts for dinner reservations. (We strolled over in 15 minutes to the buses-20 minutes gets you into DTD proper) The building is close to the pool -we heard some noise from excited kids a few times-but it was also nice to wander over, swim a bit and use the hot tub and then take a few steps back to the room. As we looked across the waterway, we wondered if building 46 might be interesting also.

When my mom and I used to go, I liked the rooms on Turtle Pond Road. They had good water views and were quiet. 37 & 43 were my favorites. We always had a rental car so distance to the main building and bus stops weren't an issue.

I would avoid 28 & 29, they are on a fairway and trees cover the buildings.

We like most of them, and I really don't think you can get anything that is too bad. The worst place we have stayed was 29 on the first floor. Our favorits are 45, 46, 15, 16, 55 and the ones in the HH catagory.

We prefer almost anywhere in the Turtle Pond and South Point areas.

Bldgs 27, 28, and 29 are conveniently located, yes. But they probably have some of the worst views at OKW...wooded and overgrown with a bit of a golf course view through the shrubbery.

Thank you so much for your help everyone! :) This was just the type of info I was needing. :thumbsup2
