Hello, disney fans, have a question my family and I have reservation for the OKW-1 bedroom aug. 5-12, does OKW has DVD players?? which building is the best to request for seeing fireworks, elevator, and not a too far walk for bus stop??? Also, we are bring my grandmother (88 years), first visit to WDW, big factor in plans!!!

Thank you,

What are my chances of getting in to BCV or BWV, been on waiting list since for last weeks???

Yes, 1 bedrooms have DVD player.

only the upper 60s have elevators. maps are on this website to see where bus stops are. but you can always get a ground floor villa too.

Yes, OKW had DVD players in the living rooms of all the 1,2,and 3 bedroom units, just as all DVC resorts do. You can see and hear Epcot fireworks from several of the buildings on the north and west end of the resort. If you have a 1 bedroom, where is Grandma sleeping? I'm hoping not on the pullout sofa.

Most buildings are within easy walking distance of one or another bus stop. I would request 1st floor for Grandma's benefit.

Building 62 (elevator bldg), was terrific for views of Illuminations when we stayed there in 2004. We could even faintly hear the music. This building is also close to the bus stops. We would get on the bus to go to the parks at the Hospitality House bus stop. But when returning in the evening, we got off at the Penninsular Rd bus stop since the HH bus stop was the last to drop off and we didn't feel like circling the resort. Best of both worlds.
