Okw 2 Bdr?????

WE ARE GOING TO BE STAYING AT OKW IN A 2 BEDROOM, IN JANUARY.
MYSELF,MY WIFE, 3 KIDS (UNDER 8) AND WIFES PARENTS. THIS IS OUR FIRST DVC TRIP.
DO YOU RECOMMEND ANY PETICULAR ROOMS TO SUIT US BEST!!!!!!! THANKS

I would request building 30 or above so that you have a second entrance into the master bedroom through the laundry room. Does anyone have problems with steps? Only the 3 new buildings have elevators, so if that is a problem you may want to request first floor.

We really find all locations to be just fine, but you need to look at your specifics. If you want non-smoking or smoking, be sure to request that. The second door to master bath would be essential since you will probably have someone sleeping on the hide-a-bed (request above 30 for that). If stairs are not an issue, you might want to leave that request out. Requesting 1st floor could get you a handicapped room, and they are not best for non-handicapped folks.

Keep your requests general. We usually request non-smoking near a quiet pool with second door to master. That usually gets us what we want.

I just rented a Grand Villa for May (Yippee!!!) and asked for non-smoking and non-groundfloor. The person I talked to as MS said that is actually the best way to get a non-handicapped room because they are all on the 1st floor. Other than that most buildings at OKW are great and have wonderful views.

We stayed in a 2 bdr last year at OKW, room 6430 to be exact. It was absolutely perfect for us. I am not sure what you are needing, but it was a 3rd floor, non-smoking room. It was a dedicated 2 bdr and had an absolutely gorgeous view of the 7th green of the LBV golf course, which was also surrounded by water. It was also close to the bus stop, main pool, Olivia's, etc. This was actually our first stay as members and we were a little disappointed that we couldn't get ressies at our home. the BWV. The disappointment was erased from our minds when we walked in that room. My DH actually prefers OKW, as we have now stayed at VB and BWV. I'm sure you will have a great stay!
