okw 10-2-04...10-9-04....what to expect?

BIg "family gathering" on those dates in OKW....going to have a ball no matter what we find but I'm wondering what to expect crowd and weather wise. We have stayed towards the end of October and found smaller crowds....we're all getting excited....any thoughts? Thanks! - Steve

You'll be there during the Food & Wine Festival at EPCOT, so that park and the Boardwalk area will probably be somewhat crowded.

Other than that, I don't think it's a bad time for crowds.

And Orlando has historical average high of 84 and low of 66 during the month of October. One of those trips where you'll need multiple types of clothing.

We have gone in the fall for every trip to Disney but the one we are going to take this May.

The crowds were not bad this October. EPCOT was the most crowded of the parks, but during the week it was not too bad, the weekends were pretty busy there. But, our longest wait for Mission Space was only about 20 minutes, and we used FASTPASS a lot.

I dont think you will have any problems - its a great time of year to go if you ask me!!!

Thanks for the feedback - I'm starting to get the "Disney fever" as we plan our trip. I was wondering about the crowds...but will rest assured that it will be nothing like the crowds when we were there over Easter --Steve
