OKW 1 BR -regular coffee makers?

I just checked to see what coffee maker the 1 BR has, checking the thread on the resorts board. Turns out they have the regular drip kind, no Keurig pods. I was really hoping they had the dual kind, like at Hilton Head, because DH needs his caffeine, while I drink decaffeinated coffee. Has anyone been able to get that kind by calling Housekeeping? Or do I have any hope that the information is out of date, and there are now dual coffee makers in the 1 BRs?

There were regular drip machines as of this past March.

I think it’s worth calling Housekeeping to ask for one. What do you have to lose? I’m hoping they’re converting to the duos as old ones break, so maybe they have some on hand.

They don’t seem to be changing out coffee makers until a resort hits a soft goods refurb. Sadly, I think OKW is only going to have basket style coffee makers available.

Okay, so I know there are dozens of threads on “what type of coffee maker is at X” but I am hoping people will help me out with creating an Ultimate thread listing all the resorts’ coffeemakers to consolidate all the info.

Please post what kind of coffee maker you had, ideally recent, at least since the last refurb at that resort, and post a pic if you have one.

Example:
YC/BC have regular Keurig machines in the regular and club rooms, may also have a Nespresso in bigger suites
BCV have Keurig duos (pot and single cup) in the 1 bedroom villas and up. Not sure what the BCV studios have...

Sure will! If we don't have the Keurig-type, I'll call and ask. It makes such a difference to our "mixed-coffee" marriage.

Just "do" like we do... Bring along a single use Keurig machine with you... I have literally taken along one of these (as a carry on) on just about every trip we have taken over the years. I even carried this thing on our Aulani trip several years ago. I put it in a backpack style laptop bag and off we go!

Good luck. I’ll be interested to see if they have one available, since they are not in the vast majority of OKW villas. You may want a Plan B if it’s essential to your mornings.
