OKW - 1 Bedroom Villa - Bathroom Privacy

I am staying in a one bedroom villa with 4 adults. I know there is only one bathroom in the unit. Are there two entrances to the bathroom? I am worried about the other couple having to come into the Master Bedroom to use the bathroom. Any input would be greatly appreciated....

You need to ask for a building higher in number than 30. Buildings higher 30 have a separate entrance in the laundry room so you can enter the bathroom where the toilet and shower is located. There is a door to close off the master bedroom. Units lower than 30 do not have that separate entrance.

Request building 30 or higher. OKW was built in 2 phases. After phase 1, I assume members spoke up about the issue and they built phase 2 with the extra entrance.

It seems like at almost every DVC resort they made design errors.

OKW - master bathroom 1 entrance - fixed in phase 2
BWV - only 1 set of elevators - nothing done
VWL - one studio with no balcony - nothing done
BCV - some dedicated 2 bedrooms are too small for 2 queens in the second bedroom - nothing done, except they made it a booking category.
BLT - studio with the bathroom sink in the kitchenette - they are fixing this

FYI, if you are booked in the HH booking category, you will NOT have the extra door to the toilet part of the master bath. As stated earlier, buildings 30-64 will have the extra door, but buildings 11-29 will not.

We stayed in building 18 during Christmas and had only the one entry. Even with 2 adults and 2 children, it was inconvenient having the kids walk through our bedroom to get to the bathroom, especially in the middle of the night.

If possible, go with the higher numbered buildings for more privacy.
