OKW 1,000 pt conract,...

Ah, but I bet there would never be 365 nights of consecutive availability!
:lmao:

I think with the change to booking it is now a possibility!
:goodvibes

But you'd still be booking your stay when you've already begun it!!!

We bought 2000 points in 92 in one contract and glad we did. I can't imagine trying to figure out a buch of different ones. We use just about every point each year as well. When we bought, 2000 was all you could buy. I believe at that time GE owned 2000. A few years later they said we could quick deed the points to one or the other and we could buy more. Also at that time, DVC was just one place and we were told it would be the only one on property. Then they built HH and VB. All was good and then they talked about BWV and we were really not surprised but upset, especially after we were told no other one on property. Oh well, we enjoy it to the limit!:goodvibes

wow, 2000 points! We bought 320 back in 1994. I don't remember being told that there would only be one DVC on property at that time, but it certainly was implied in the fact that OKW was called 'DVC' - I do remember being told things like 'the buses to and from DVC are always much more frequent than to other resorts' - it was true at the time, but not for long.
I'm not complaining - still love the whole thing. It's evolution has not damaged it yet in my eyes, but it is getting so much bigger so quickly, I hope they don't blow it up too far and burst it (quality-wise) like a balloon.

Any one member can own up to 2,000 points at one resort and 5,000 total. In the past, TTS has even had 2,000 point contracts for sale. "Members" are not necessarily all individuals. Companies have bought contracts for use by executives or employees.

Just out curiosity, do you remember back in 92 what the price per point was? It would be interesting to see how much it's gone up over the years!

I think it is awesome that you (PP) have a 2000 pt contract but I am literally gasping :scared1: at your maintenance fees! But, hey, if you are handling it (as I must assume you are) Kudos to you! :thumbsup2
