I think some people need a field trip to Tulsa.

Aside from PGA golf (if that's your thing), there's an award winning zoo, a beautiful aquarium (has been featured on Shark Week on DC), Philbrook Museum of Art, more fine restaurants than you can shake a stick at, an arts district, a bohemian district, an air and space museum, a planetarium, not to mention an opera and a ballet company. The list really goes on and on.
As far as the merlot goes, there are about 45 licensed wineries in Oklahoma, all of whom are outraged that instead of Oklahoma wine being served at the Oklahoma exhibit at F&*WINE*F, they will be serving California wine MADE by a native to Oklahoma. The reason for this is that the policy makers decided that the Oklahoma wineries did not have enough time to meet production, but many are saying it's all about money and they were never given the chance.
