Geesch I cant believe after all the negatives Ive gotten that you guys are upset about the possibility of missing Castaway Cay! A hurricane will not delay your cruise. Imagine not getting ON the ship - now compare a hurricane to that "other thing". Im sure there are lots of us 11/30 non-cruisers who would have loved the chance for a Mystery Cruise

Well, I'm glad to see your apology Barb. To tell you the truth, I was floored.

I'm hoping that this hurricane steers off into the empty Atlantic quickly for everyone's safety and enjoyment.

I have to agree with fireplug & huckster. I've been tracking Isabel closely and am hoping she will cooperate. I'm not as concerned about sailing through a hurricane (I definitely trust DCL), but have 2 concerns: a) being able to land OK in Orlando (what if we get diverted? that will not be good) b) I'm prone to motion sickness. My first and last cruise was 10 years ago, and one night was rough...felt very queasy.

OK - I vented my concerns and am now ready for the Mystery Cruise, if it comes to that. Got my bonine and my sense of adventure with me!

To clarify my earlier post I am just slightly concerned about rough seas. DW tends to get a little sea sick and she very much deserves this vacation. I want her to have a GREAT time

I thought the excessive use of smilies and the Montana metaphor would be seen as somewhat over the top. and bring a little levity to the board. Perhaps I did not use enough

I am sure we will enjoy our cruise even if we just go 100 miles off shore and float .

Once again thanks to all who expressed positive thoughts they are appreciated.

Fireplug and other cruisers - I feel for you! I can understand wanting clear skies and to see CC. I do hope you get these things. Of course if it does become a mystery cruise, roll with it and enjoy. I know you will make the most of it . I tend to vent early and get it out of my system so I can enjoy myself later. No one likes to hear that their concerns are not valid. I would think that those who have been dissapointed in the past would be the first to show empathy . Do unto other what you would like them to do to you not what was done to you
