No Disney link here either. Big Smooth was the nickname of a NBA basketball player while I was in college (Sam Perkins).

Big Smooth then became the name of my cat. He then got to know my girlfriend who then became my wife. Then then begrudgingly got to know the kids as they went from infant to toddler to young children. He passed a couple years ago, and is now my sign in name.

Mine is not Disney related but....edk35 are the initials for my full name. I go by my middle name Denise not Elizabeth. The 35 was how old I was many years ago when I first used a user name on a " Dec. expecting" message board ( I was pregnant with our 3rd child). Pretty boring user name really.

Called Bobbi, and Woz has always been DH's and DSs' nickname. Unfortunately Steve Wozniak of Apple fame is not related. (according to Wikipedia, his nickname is Woz too!) but we're all in mathematics or engineering.

My username is pretty straightforward ... became enamored of Tinkerbell back in the sixties when she began The Wonderful World of Disney television show ... had dreams of going to Disneyland, but never made it there ... finally, in my 40s, I went to WDW (now being on the east coast instead of the west coast) and had the great good fortune of seeing Tinkerbell fly through the air to begin the fireworks at Magic Kingdom that very first trip. What a treat! WDW has been a magical place for me ever since. I am so thankful that my DH feels the same way ... he had never been either until our honeymoon in 2004.

I tend to be a little creative, and tried to get several names with Goofy in there, but alas, they were all used up. As my DW was getting us set up(shes the computer whiz) and things were going a bit slower than I wanted, we settled on our first names, Jimmy and Tammy.

She since has become TammyNC. Some lady DIS friends encouraged her to become her own person as they werent sure who they were conversing with.

I was also the victim of 'the first forum' and didn't quite understand 'username'. Now I am one of the geeks with their full name.

I've tried to correct this on subsequent boards going first to 'Lisa' (new board), then using our dogs full name 'Mystical Magic' or 'Mystic Magic' which I thought fit well with the Disney theme.

Although I am a male, I picked up the nickname "Chic" several years ago when I performed in a glamor type rock band. We used to dress up in really stylish clothing and did crazy things with hair and make up. Chic is defined as having style and elegance so the name appropriately fit for the things we were doing at the time. I still perform as a musician and the name "Chic" has followed me and became my stage name. Most people have no idea that my real name is not Chic!
