My best friend was like that with her ex bf of almost a year, he got sick of her acting like that, she was depressed rebounded a month later and is with a new guy doing the same thing. Alot of times its the girl who grows attached because she thinks if she loses you she won't have another boy especially if you are one of her first boyfriends. Talk to her tell her if she doesn't knock if off, shes pushing you further away and maybe you need a break. Thats how my best freind realized what she was doing to her borfriend and it worked for a while before they broke up for good.

Nope, I don't have a boyfriend and it's the one thing that eats me up inside because God how I wish I did have one.

There was one point where I was sort of meandering on the idea of having a boyfriend. This guy came right out and told me he liked me. I broke his heart more than enough times and it seriously tears my heart to shreads knowing that. But I made decisions that best suited the situation. He understands that also. Funny thing is, we've never met.

dont bother with boys. they are annoying, confusing and will break your heart. and if your wondering, no my bf and I have not broken up, nor are we in a fight. But seriously,boys just complicate things and it's highschool/junior high(sorry idk what grade your in) and life is already complicated enough, you dont need boys to complicate them even more. I know not having a boyfriend it seems as though if you had one everything would be okay, but they just complicate everything. Yea he may make you happy, but he can also make your life completely confusing.

I'm not saying that boys do it intentionally, I'm just saying they do. My boyfriend has no idea that its hard for me to not talk to him, and that is partly my fault for not telling him, but we cant really do anything about it, cuz our scheduals are so different. But he just makes me think too much and it stresses me out, but hes not doing it intentionally. I'm just saying since she isn't used to dating yet, that she should wait a while, because at this stage in a person's life things are complicated and the opposite sex and relationships can just make everything so much more complicated. Don't get me wrong I love my boyfriend and i love having him as a boyfriend, but it makes my life just a little bit more stressful.

I agree with 2hot2touch. But it is not always boys. I know my friends do some really annoying things to there boyfriends, without really meaning it.

Opposite sexes are designed to have different opinions.

We can't help it. That is just how it is.

Vannah I honestly think you should not fret about it. If you look at the big picture, like I said before, this probably won't matter. If it happens that is great if it doesn't it is fine too. But if you obsess over it before you ask him it will turn into something much more emotionally.

So just be yourself.

That's like saying it's not worth going to school because it's hard. Or like it's not worth playing a sport because it takes up time, makes you practice, etc. I see no problem replacing the word "boyfriend" with anything that takes time, and your argument would be identical =/

If it interferes with your personality, family, school. It is not worth it.

If a sport intereferes with school, it is not worth it.

This could be true. but in my case I HAVE to go to school, because I'm paying 40,000 dollars a year and I HAVE to play a sport because its required at my school. but i dont HAVE to have a boyfriend, I just choose to, because he makes me happy. yes its complicating and I know it's hard for him too, so im not just saying boys are complicating I know i am confusing. And I know I complicate his life more than he would probably want it to be complicated right now, but we make each other happy and that's what wins out in the end. But seeing as this person hasn't had much expirience with dating and barely talks to the guy she is crushing on, then i see no point in her liking him like that at this point. I think she should just be friends with him and push her feelings aside untill she gets to know him as more of a friend. my bf and I knew that going into our relationship it was going to be hard, because we knew that not all of our friends supported us and that we go to 2 different schools and live in 2 different states, so it would be hard to see each other. but again, the happiness that we make each other feel is what matters.

I would if i was in one, but that will never happen because all the guys in our school like the cheerleader types ( not saying there bad ) im just not that type. Basically they'll only date a girl who is 'popular' and pretty, im not either of those so looks like i loose out once again.
