Anyone tell me - does a WDW booking have to be paid in full to order 'Magic Bands' and do the pre check in?

I do room only. They require a one night deposit to hold the reservation. I have ordered and received magic bands before my trip. My room was not paid in full.

Nope. We're not paid in full either and have ordered and received our bands and have done pre-check in.
