okay, silly question for the newbie

how do you all get those little pictures under your user name? i am so new to the whole forum thing. can someone take me thru the steps?

Go to "quick links" at the top of the page. Then "edit avatar". You can chose through the standard avatars or upload your own.

laui (like maui), was how my daughter said "flower" when she was just little.

I have problems with avatars. They keep saying my avatar is too big as it only accepts smaller files. So I cut it down to specifications and it still wont let me.
