Okay, I logged onto Slimfast today and they told me that I am apparently obese. I'm 4'9" and weigh 139 lbs. as of this morning and my goal weight is 105. I'm seriously depressed and the more depressed I am, the more I eat :stir: . I need to lose this weight before 8/13, but here's the good news; according to Slimfast.com, I CAN lose 32 pounds by the time I get to Disney. Wish me luck everybody!!! I'm going for it!!! :yay:
 
Hi there and welcome to WISH....you have come to a great place for support...there are all kinds of people that need to lose a little, a lot...

Good for you for starting a journal...that will help you be more accountable. Take it one day at a time...if you fall off today, that is okay, we all do, tomorrow is a new day and you can start over. Don't be too hard on yourself...the weight didn't go on overnight and it won't come off overnight. But it will come off if you work at it!!!

Okay, so, yesterday, I binged...badly :guilty: . I was doing so good in the morning, but then someone brought in some leftover Easter candy and I ate all the Whoppers (mmm, so bad, but sooo good). Then I went home and had two ring dings and some chocolate. :furious: .

This morning, I'm doing better, I had 1 Slimfast shake w/skim, 1 apple, some pineapple pieces and a cup of coffee. I don't know why I'm starving!! :confused3

I think I'm going to have a cup of soup for lunch, some more fruit and some light butter popcorn and then I'll have the other shake for dinner. I've also been taking the One A Day vitamins for weight control but they make me so sick :faint:!!!

Hopefully, I don't binge when I get home, but I can't promise anything b/c today is $1 scoop day at Baskin Robbins :banana: .

Keep up the good work, you can resist the Baskin Robbins....you can !!!!

Wow, I'm repeating a bad pattern here. It's so hard during the 1st (or 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and so on) week of a diet. Couldn't resist the Baskin Robbins yesterday, nor could I resist 2 Ring Dings. I can't wait until the junk food is out of my house!!! :furious:

Started off my morning the same, Slim fast shake, banana, a few pieces of pineapple and some coffee. My co-worker has put out some more Easter candy and I'm really trying hard here :rolleyes1 .

I think it's really psychological. The more I can't eat, the more I eat. I'm so hungry all the time and water is NOT doing it :rotfl2: .

Didn't do my crunches this morning so I have to do them later. Ugh.

I do have some good new though. My DH, who is soooo sweet and so good to me :love: , tells me that although I may want some of the brownies I had to make for my daughter's bake sale today, he didn't want me to eat it b/c then I would just complain about it later on and in his words...

"It hurts to see the person you love putting themselves down on a constant basis"...Awwww, I love that man of mine. :cheer2:

Until tomorrow, I will really do my best to eat well for the rest of the day. :thumbsup2
 
Welcome to Wish! :cool1: I hear you on the sugar cravings. I'm a junk food junkie too. Easter was horrible for me. I'm just now clearing my house from all the junk we had. I've decided I have to get control again. This week I'm exercising more plus I've increased my protein intake to help get rid of the sugar cravings. Hang in there you're definately not alone!
 
Wow. Like, just give all ur junk food and candy to friends! and don't let them invite u over! wow u couldn't resist baskin's? i don't personally like their ice cream....
 
I LOVE :love: Baskin Robbins!!!! Mmmm. I was a little upset that they didn't have my favorite flavor (Pralines & Cream) so I settled for a scoop of mint chocolate chip (yum).

But I did SO GOOD yesterday. I had my slimfast with fruit and coffee in the morning (the combo really gets you going in the A.M. if you know what I mean :rotfl2: ). Then I had a shake for lunch with a small cup of soup. I like the Optima b/c it lets you do a combo meal (the shake and something small, like 150 calories worth). I know I eat a little more than I should but I'm getting used to being hungry. Gum helps. :p

Anyway, I didn't binge yesterday, and that's a start. Did my crunches this morning and I need to remember to take my vitamin tonight. I've been forgetting. :sad2:

I feel good today. :goodvibes

I too love Baskin Robbins...in fact ice cream really is a down fall for me!!! I have a hard time saying no....but I do....it was hard at first, but it gets easier...trust me!!!

Congrats for being so good!!!! You made it through one day...it will only get easier!!!

This weekend, :confused3 , not so good. On Friday I had BBQ chicken nachos for dinner, on Saturday, I had KFC and on Sunday, we went to Applebee's.

But, I'm back on my diet. Hopefully I can jumpstart another five pound loss this week.

I'm thinking about drinking the Hollywood Diet thing this weekend. I know you can lose about 10 lbs. with it. I don't necessarily think I'll lose that much, but a few might help me fit into my pants better without them rolling down b/c of belly fat. pirate:

So, we'll see, but I gotta say this diet journal is helping. :sunny:

You didn't do too bad this weekend...just remember that it takes baby steps. You can do this!!

Okay, I know I haven't logged in, but I'm in a new dept. and my boss is a hawk. Anyway, I lost 2 more lbs. and I'm happy. I snack during the day but I keep it to a min. I had such a good AND healthy dinner last night!!! :thumbsup2

so far so good, I've been exercising and my pants a just a touch looser :banana: !!

Whoo, let me go b4 my boss catches me. :wave2:

Okay, my boss is in a mtg. Whoo Hoo, I'm on the DIS!!! So far so good, drinking lots of water. Last night's dinner was ok-ay. I'm eating Special K w/skim as I type. Whoo Hoo.
