Has anyone dined at this restaurant. I would like to make a ressie for this resturant that includes the Fantasmic Dinner Package. What time would be best? Don't want to eat to early if we can help but will wander the park if necessary. I missed so much last trip like Fantasmic and I think making a Fantasmic Dinner Package ressie will help alot.

We ate there, once, and were not impressed. The time is whenever is convenient for you. Its a buffet, so you can eat as quickly or slow as you like.

However, I would reccommend Mama Melrose for the Fantasmic Dinner Package.

We were there in June 2004 and liked it a lot. Everyone had plenty to eat. I think our ADR was 6:20 and Fantasmic was at 9:00. That gave us plenty of time and we got to see the parade before we ate.

I hate this place -- have said it before. Most FDP ADR's are really early until about a month out. We have an ADR for 4:30 at BD for FDP in February (Valentine's Day, actually!)

We ate there in December. My boys all liked it and found a lot to eat. I think we all went through the buffet twice and then the dessert table once. I really liked the peel and eat shrimp, turkey pot roast, and seafood alfredo. It wasn't gourmet but it was good and we left very full.

I think the only way I'd eat there again is if they do go through with the rumored character dining aimed at boys. We ate there this past August and the only thing we really liked was the voucher for Fantasmic! We are trying out Mama Melrose next week and hoping it's a lot better!!
We had a 4:05 ADR and asked first thing that morning if we could come a little later. We knew we wouldn't be too hungry at that time. They told us we could come a half hour later.
After we ate, we watched the parade and headed to Fantasmic to wait thinking we may still have trouble getting a decent seat 45 minutes before show time.
We got there and the guaranteed seating was almost empty (I think we were either the 2nd or 3rd family). The entire left section was completely empty as was half the middle section. My husband and son left to go ride some rides and were back a half hour later and there was still plenty of spaces. I would not have bothered with the FDP for our trip next week, but we plan on being at MGM on MLK Day and was worried we may not get a guaranteed seat without having a FDP ADR.

We've eaten here twice. Both times I thought the food was good. There are staples like pot roast and mashed potatoes, while there are also some more creative dishes that I really enjoyed. Something for everybody!

We found the food mediocre and the atmosphere noisy. I think it's worth the extra $ to go for BD, if you really want the FDP. When we went in October, we had no trouble getting seats without the package, arriving about an hour before showtime.

We ate there in December. Atmosphere is fairly average, but food is good and there's plenty of it! Good value overall and would certainly go there again.

We liked our dinner there back in June '05. Like others have said, to get a Fantasmic package for dinnertime (sixish), call about 3 weeks out. :flower:
