No, not that involved. I did a search on Google and found something interesting. When I worked at the hospital and checked on the docs' credentials, I was also told to check google. I was amazed what popped up on these people!

Sounds like a successful evening, Legs. Isn't it sad how a night out with a friend or two is like super-exciting now? I don't know if it's like that with you, but that's the way I feel.

PW -- glad you had fun helping your friend. I'm a big fan of variety; it's kinda a "grass is always greener" mentality, I know, but it's so refreshing to break out of your routine (even if it's just typing a paper). Plus I'm sure it felt good to be useful. That's always nice.

FL -- we will fume with you! I can't imagine having to put up with any of my exes for the greater part of the rest of my life. Blah.

My big excitement today is that I finished cleaning everything off of the floor of my junk room!!!! Just a month ago, I literally couldn't walk through it!!! This has all been done in small increments at a time. It feels great! PLUS I cleaned out a closet floor that has been cluttered for about 6 months. It only took 15 minutes! Woo hoo!

It was a good way to end a bad day. I lost a patient today that I loved... very sudden. Splenic tumor ruptured and she bled to death. It really sucks when you don't get to them in time. Sucks even more for the parent who thinks his pet is well and comes home to her being almost gone. Life is short. Kiss your babies. We've had a bad string of deaths and near-deaths in the past couple of weeks. It needs to stop!!

Thanks, Jen! Just doing that little thing has made me realize I'm sick of school and very ready to go back to work even if it is a low paying job. LOL! It was fun!! LOL! What I need is an administrative job that pays more. I find that type of thing fun. Some people hate it, I love it.

I heard from darling heart throb this morning who told me that his next assignment will probably be overseas for a year until he can get into Senior training in PA.

I fought the tears for a bit, but they've arrived any way. So I started thinking...do I still want to move even though he won't be there. (He does still have 18 months in his current position unless that's being changed.) Yes, I still want to go. I'm so tired of FL, I would be closer to my sister, I could drive up to NJ and see my old friends that I've missed for years. And I like that general area of Virginia. Why is my heart soooooooooooo lousy at choosing someone? Sheesh!

FL ~ That sucks. My parents are divorced and if my dad was like that I would be upset, I know she probably has no idea now, but later she will know. I guess I was just blessed w/ parents who could both put aside their differences for me. Hopefully things work out for you and Brianna.

Me, well my elbow is feeling better, for now, I just hope that it stays better and doesn't flare up again when I get off these meds. Dr. Gave me another scrip, and I'll see him again in 3 weeks. He usually says come backif it is still there or something like that but not this time. Oh well check ups are good anyway. Meds give me a headache sometimes though. & they make me feel tired, like my body is tired. I am done with them soon though. Yea! Ok, I am going to go now. Hope everyone feels better.

Thanks, MDP. It's been a tough day and I feel wiped out. I better start my homework and get my mind occupied. Good news...I received my appraisal in the mail today! The realtor that I haven't actually hired has been sooooooooooooo helpful and is continuing. He's letting me know how much it would be if I do end up hiring him. And he's telling me I could probably get $10,000 more than what the appraisal is...woooooooo hoooooo! Something to smile about! We'll see how we can fanagle (is that how it's spelled?) this with the neighbor. If not, it's on the market!! Anyone looking for a 2-bedroom villa in south FL? LOL!

Glad your elbow is better. Sorry the meds give you a headache! Make sure you finish ALL the meds!! And keep that appointment with the doctor. It's important for him to be sure it's cleared up ENTIRELY! If side effects are too bothersome, call his office. Maybe they can switch to something else.

Thanks guys for letting me vent. Brianna ended up with an upper resporitory infection and took her to the walk in to cover my behind. She's on meds and everything. So the issue ended up being mute, but his manipulation of the situatioin still needs to be addressed. Plus received in the mail yesterday from my attorney paperwork for contempt charges against him.

Anyways, dective guy called again yesterday. Not sure if we are ever going to meet and I'm certainly not going to bring up that issue again. But I still haven't seen a picture of him and now beginning to wonder why!

Doc, it's hard losing a pet that way and to be a docter and not to be able to do anything must feel awfull. My dog is getting up there in age and he's moving slower and everything. I know that day from him isn't that far away and I'll feel for DD, b/c she's so close with him.

Hi y'all! Good thoughts coming everyone's way for positive test results and easy procedures. Doc, sorry for the loss of your beloved patient.

Last night I went to Austin to visit my family. We went to see Phantom of the Opera - first row seats, center stage. My s-i-l is a huge fan. Afterwards, she said she probably will never be able to see it again because our seats couldn't be beat! Although it was amazing being so close up, I actually didn't like it as much as I thought I would. I guess I am just not a fan of musicals - well, unless it is Disney of course. The sets, costumes, and music were incredible though!

FM, not sure what to say about your detective. It was a month before I met my guy. Later when I asked him why it took him so long, he said that he read on MSMBC that if you don't rush the first meeting it increases your chances of success once you do meet since you will know more about the person. Not sure I believe that. It did give me time to meet the other two guys I was interested in from match, so it turned out ok. I guess what would worry me is that you asked him to meet and he hasn't taken you up on the offer.

PW, good luck with selling your house. I actually decided this week that I need to sell mine (my ex gave me the house in our divorce). Its just too much house and too expensive for me by myself. I'm not quite ready to think about the logistics but I know it is the right decision. What will be hard is finding a place to rent that will accept my three dogs. Hopefully, I'll be able to find a duplex so I can have a small yard.

So, is anyone watching the Academy Awards tonight?

Good luck with the house sale, TigerBear! I've been thinking about the same thing and mentioned it to a friend on the phone last night. I have 2 dogs and will be looking to rent a while before buying anywhere. She actually had a zoo in her rental home. LOL! She had 3 dogs, a cat, a bird, rabbits. Yes, she's an animal lover and is actually the animal control officer in a town in NJ. Now she also has a couple cats and one more dog she brought home from work. LOL! Those animals see her coming! She said that when she was renting the home she had, the landlord didn't allow pets. But when he saw her dogs and how friendly they were and trained, he let her take them in with her. I hope I'm that lucky. But the puppy better improve! I guess he's not officially a puppy any more. He turned 1 year old this month. Hope you find a good place!

I have alsways done a search online to make sure where they live and have lived along with age goes along with what they say. I tried doing reverse directory on his home phone (yes I'm bad), but it's unlisted. I have his home and cell phone number. He does have a woman in his life, his dog. But I do agree with that if you don't meet them after a certain amount of period of time, they have something to hide. I can understand being shy, but at some point it's like come on.
