Disney Minnie Van service now from MCO to deluxe hotels guests (not just club level)

So I'm seeing on a few sites (groups I follow) at this point that Minnie Van service to/from MCO will be offered to guests staying at a Deluxe Hotel. Starting I think 8/13?

But....it will cost $199 each way!!! Yowzas!

I think we will stick with GearFusion, but putting it out here for those who may want to use it!

I'm happy that the Minnie Van is still a thing. I don't plan on returning to WDW for several years, but when I do, I just might want to give it a try. You only live once.

I'll ask DH if he can find the article - he just showed me yesterday. Something about it use to only be available to concierge but now Disney is extending the service.

If that's true, that's awesome, but I think that would be lower than what they were charging before and I just don't see Disney doing that.

I would be thrilled to be wrong though!

I haven't seen anything official from Disney. Some blogs suggest DVC resorts are excluded, others say they're included.

Sorry but $199 is one way pricing. We are talking Minnie Vans. $40 just from MK to AK. And this is all the way to the airport with a Meet and Greet!

I’m dying. Even private car services charge $100+ for one way SUVs.

The service, which has been available for CL guests, is $199 each way. It was $150 each way pre Covid (which at the time had eventually expanded to all resorts), it increased to $199 when they brought it back for CL guests. Surprised it has taken this long to expand back to other resorts.

And assuming for the moment the info is correct and they are expanding beyond CL, when they first offered the airport runs in 2018 there was a period of time where resorts were limited and they added more resorts a few times along the way as they managed demand/capacity. So there is precedent for a slow/not every resort roll out of things in the Minnie Van department.

No it was, and has been $199 one-way for a Minnie Van Airport transfer. When it returned last January it was $150 but quickly went to $199 one-way.

Posted about this a few days ago in the News forum, still haven't seen any official word though. So far all I've seen is people on Facebook and one or two travel agents saying this is true. Guessing if it is true it'll be the same price as it currently is for club guests at $199 each way. It's expensive, but we like to use it to get my mom to the hotel when we arrive at different times, she doesn't use rideshare and she's most comfortable just doing everything with Disney directly. Plus it's nice to get into the "bubble" quicker!

You pay almost $199 one way with Happy Limo? Yipes! Tiffany is $195 round trip. We tried Happy a few times years ago but liked Tiffany better.

For those who have the extra $$$, this is a great option to splurge and immediately get into the bubble. For the vast majority of visiting guests, Lyft XL will get them to their hotel in the same amount of time for less than half the cost each way. We rent a private car and it costs about $175 round trip in a scheduled Chevrolet Suburban or Cadillac Escalade with a driver waiting for us at baggage claim. We use the same driver each time we go (annually). If the Minnie Van were the same price or just slightly more (10-20%), we would get the Minnie Van. Not for more than double the price though.

We were just told about this news from our Minnie Van driver! We used the Minnie Van service to and from the airport for our YC CL stay. Our driver said that it’s expanding to all deluxe guests very soon and the price is staying the same. He said the only difference is how you book the service- he seemed to think the guest would call to reserve the service themself instead of going through Signature Services. Which makes sense since it’s no longer just for CL. He said that the Minnie Van team looks forward to controlling the reservations instead of relying on Signature Services. I don’t know that we’ll always use it, but it was a nice option. I reserved it this trip as part of a splurge for DH’s birthday.
